Excitus AS, a medical device company in Stavanger, Norway raises 7,4 MNOK in August 2020 to further develop and commercialise the handheld suction device for pre-hospital use. This adds to the previously raised 10,9 MNOK in convertible note and soft funding in 2020.

Total raised for 2020 is 18,3 MNOK excluding the 5,2MNOK in in-kind from development partners.

“This financing will allow Excitus to gain further traction in the civil pre-hospital market and be able to industrialize our handheld suction device providing physicians and paramedics the long wanted suction device with a reduced risk of cross-contamination. The market is lacking a small and portable suction device with high performance and no spillage of infectious fluids.” said one of the founders of Excitus Per Reidar Ørke
